September 10, 2018FDNY Marine Corps Association Raising Funds for Memorial Monument
The FDNY Foundation is helping to support the FDNY Marine Corps Association by asking others to support their efforts to build a FDNY Memorial Monument.
The intention of the FDNY Marine Corps Association is to erect a Memorial with appropriate dignity, reverence and celebration in recognition of the sacrifice put forth on September 11, 2001 by 17 of the 343 NYC Firefighters who were lost on that fateful day, and who were also United States Marines. Therefore, it is a fitting tribute that this Memorial be placed at Parris Island, where these 17 Heroes earned and received the Eagle, Globe and Anchor, and the Title of United States Marine.
The FDNY Marine Corps Association will be holding a Big Bucks Cash Bonanza Raffle in an effort to raise money for the Memorial Fund. For more information on tickets and making a payment, please review the Raffle Flyer to see how you can help.
