On Saturday, November 16, FDNY Firehouses and EMS Stations from all over the city competed in the FIT To Fight 2019 FDNY Biking Competition sponsored by the FDNY Foundation. The event took place at the FDNY Fire Academy on Randall’s Island, and consisted of four-member teams competing in a 10,000 meter-relay bike race. The fastest 24 teams won a brand new Concept 2 Bike ERG for their Firehouse or EMS Station. Thanks to all the FDNY Firefighters, Paramedics, and EMTs who participated, and special thanks to Capt.
