The FDNY Foundation congratulates the 135 Probationary Emergency Medical Technicians who graduated today. They are a remarkable group and we wish them the best of luck in the FDNY. We thank them for choosing a career of service and commitment to protecting the people and City of New York, and proudly representing the FDNY.
“In this Department are all part of a team, with a shared mission saving lives and property. We show up to all kinds of emergencies, big and small, but always when people need us most. That’s an incredible honor and an incredible responsibility,” said Chief of Department John Hodgens.
Chief of EMS Michael Fields said, “Do not place limitations on anything you want to achieve, the more you dream the further you will go.”
