FDNY Foundation Thanks Jesse Kay of Amazon For His Support of the FDNY and FDNY Foundation

Jesse Kay received the Frontrunner of the Year Award from his employer, Amazon, for having the highest safety and quality metrics over the course of a year out of all of the Walker Delivery Associates. Jesse was one out of eight total delivery associates that received this award (there are 150,000+ total) in North America, making this a truly amazing achievement for him to receive!

As a Thank You to Jesse for his tremendous work, Amazon made a donation to a charity of his choice. Jesse selected the FDNY.

Why Jesse Picked the FDNY

When Jesse won the Frontrunner of the Year Award, without hesitation he selected the FDNY as his Charity of choice to donate to. 9/11 touched Jesse’s heart and made a lasting impression, particularly the brave first responders. Jesse wanted to give back to the FDNY who have given so much for the citizens of New York. “We lost so many amazing innocent lives. The fire department went in to save as many people as they could, and that is something I will never forget, said Jesse Kay.”

When the Foundation met Jesse and asked him why he picked the FDNY and he started to list his reasons, he was so passionate about his decision and his love for the FDNY. The FDNY Foundation is proud to recognize and welcome our fellow New Yorker Jesse Kay into our circle of friends.
