Thank you for supporting the FDNY Foundation, the official 501(c)(3) non-profit organization of the New York City Fire Department. The FDNY Foundation funds programs that advance the FDNY’s goals, which include maintaining operational excellence, reaching out to the community with an array of fire and life safety programs, and ensuring that our firefighters and EMS personnel have the best available training and equipment.
There are many ways to help the greatest fire department in the greatest city to save lives and protect property:

Donor Advised Fund (DAF)
There are tax benefits to giving through a DAF. If you have questions, contact Christine Bove, Director, Development at christine.bove@fdny.nyc.gov.
IRA Charitable Rollovers (QCD)
IRA owners age 70½ or over can transfer up to $100,000 to charity tax-free each year. These transfers, known as qualified charitable distributions or QCDs, offer eligible older Americans a great way to easily support the FDNY Foundation before the end of the year. And, for those who are at least 73 years old, QCDs count toward the IRA owner’s required minimum distribution (RMD) for the year.
If you have questions, contact Christine Bove, Director, Development at christine.bove@fdny.nyc.gov.
