On Saturday, March 11th, the FDNY Foundation joined the FDNY for a Plaque Dedication Ceremony for Firefighter Jesse Gerhard at Ladder 134 in Queens.
The FDNY Foundation joins the FDNY in remembering Firefighter Gerhard. We remember and honor him for his 7 years of service, commitment, sacrifice, and dedication to the FDNY and the City of New York. Firefighter Gerhard will never be forgotten.
Firefighter Gerhard was the 1,156th member of the FDNY to die as a result of injuries sustained in the line-of-duty.
