January 10, 2022As we welcome the New Year, we want to take this opportunity to thank everybody for their support of the FDNY Foundation and the life-saving mission of the FDNY.
The FDNY Foundation is the official not-for-profit of the FDNY. Since its founding, the FDNY Foundation has provided funding for FDNY programs, training, and education that keeps the FDNY strong by increasing safety, advancing innovation and ensuring that the FDNY remains the world leader in emergency response.
On behalf of the FDNY Foundation Board of Directors, thank you for making our work possible. The generosity of our donors helps the Foundation continue to support FDNY members and the communities they serve.
We honor the service, dedication and bravery of our Firefighters, EMT’s and Paramedics and it is with tremendous gratitude that we wish you and your family a Happy, Healthy, and Safe New Year!
Please remember to be #FDNYSmart this New Year:
- Don’t block escape routes with decorations or other items.
- Never leave burning candles unattended.
- Don’t overload electrical outlets and remember that extension cords are for temporary use only.
- Make sure you have a working smoke and carbon monoxide alarm on every level of your home.
