FDNY EMTs, Paramedics and Firefighters are on the frontlines of the COVID-19 crisis battling to keep New York City residents and visitors safe.
Today, your generosity is needed more than ever to help the FDNY Foundation support each and every member of the Department during these unprecedented times. With a brewing financial crisis, new funds are desperately needed to ensure lifesaving programs and initiatives can survive.
The FDNY Foundation is currently using emergency funds to help with the following:
*Directly assisting Department families affected by the pandemic.
*Acquiring personal protective equipment.
*Expanding counseling services for first responders.
*Procuring technology to allow the Fire and EMS Academies to train remotely.
*Establishing virtual alternatives for fire and life safety programs in schools and neighborhoods.
